Banyan Farm Tourist Park is situated on the banks of the Daly River, 6km’s along Wooliana Road. We have large shady and grassed powered sites and various styles of cabin accommodation. With a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, private boat ramp & mooring pontoons Banyan Farm is the perfect base for a chance to catch a barra! The Banyan Farm Bistro is opened 6 days a week, usually between April – August. Other facilities include a pool, walking trails around private billabongs, Telstra mobile service.  We hope you enjoy our popular Daly River accommodation.

Accommodation Options

CABIN 1

Air conditioned cabin with kitchenette and bathroom. 1 queen bed & 2 king singles.
Linen/towels included.
Microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, induction cook plate. Crockery/cutlery. TV.

ENSUITE CABINS

Semi contained air-conditioned cabins with bathroom.
Linen supplied.

RAINTREE CABINS

Twin share. Kitchenette, bathroom. Linen supplied. Fridge/freezer, microwave, induction plate, kettle, toaster, crockery/cutlery. TV.

SLEEPER CABINS

Basic room. Air-conditioned, Sleeps 3-4 Linen supplied. No towels.
Verandah with table & chairs, bar fridge.
No bathroom. Toilet block nearby.

BUNKHOUSE (demountable) ROOMS.

Basic, air-conditioned room. Either single bed or
single bunks. Bathroom.
Bar fridge. Linen/towels included.

FISHERMAN’S HUT

4 room demountable. Air-conditioned.
Kitchenette. 3 bedrooms. Each has 1 single bed & single bunks.
Sleeps 3 per room.
Bed linen included. No bathroom. Toilet block nearby. BBQ, table and chairs on verandah.
$220 per night, for 3 rooms, $150 p/n for 2 rooms

Our Happy Guests

We stayed here 3 nights, really enjoyed this park. Our men went up the river for a few nights fishing, and us girls enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the park itself. As it is right on the river it is excellent for fishing. It has an excellent restaurant and a wonderful roast night every Saturday night. A long way from any other attractions, but it’s mainly for people who love to fish, also lovely and quite at night. Would recommend this park to anyone.

Been here for 6 weeks and have seen lots of fish caught both by tourists and the competitors in the 3 big fishing competitions. The last comp finishes today. The park is looking fantastic after a good wet season and the river is in great shape with lots of fish. Get yourself down here and catch a barra either in your own boat or use the parks fishing guide to take you out. You won’t be disappointed.

We came for 2 nights and ended up staying 5. Being the end of the tourist season we had the place to ourselves. The hosts Kerry and Wally were lovely. There is plenty of wildlife to watch at all times of the day. Loved the swimming pool. Absolutely loved my stay here

We have returned back to Banyan Farm for several years now. Lots to do especially fishing. They have the lot here. Ambiance. Bistro has great food. People are friendly will be back again for sure.

What a beautiful park and restaurant. As a solo traveller, I found everyone in Daly River to be friendly and accommodating, but especially so at Banyan Farm. Lovely staff, fantastic well-priced food and great ambience. I didn’t stay at the park but it looks wonderful! My barra dinner was top-notch.
